Ketchikan!

Ahhh . . the last of our Port’s of Call! It was a wonderful day. We got off the ship and had some time to explore the shops for a bit and pick up the rest of our freebies - - - another necklace from Effy’s and charm from Diamonds International. Those gold bracelets and charms are the best souvenirs and FREE. Can’t beat that!
We had gotten tickets to see the Lumberjack Show I really didn’t know what to expect but figured . . .when in Rome! The small stadium had heated and padded seats and heat lamps overhead. It was early (1100) and so still a little cool out. The show was very entertaining and we all enjoyed it - -and the best part . . .it gave our legs a chance to rest so we could head out for more shopping! And then back to the ship for a late snack some rest time and time to get ready for dinner!

We got back just in time to meet our new friends, Alex and Audri, for our daily afternoon trivia game. We had lots of fun and it often amazed me how Alex and I would write down the same answers (even if they were wrong) at the same time. It kinda became a joke of sorts They were a wonderful couple and we hope to keep in touch with them! They are both from Vancouver Island (Victoria) so it’s not that far away!
