Mia is meaner than mean!
On our trip over to see Furr, we of course took Leo, who was Furr’s dog before we inherited him. Leo and Mia had lived together before so we didn’t think there would be any problem. Leo just loves cat food - -I think it’s like candy for him. We hadn’t been there very long when his nose smelled the goods and off he went to investigate.
Like lightening he came flying out of the bedroom . .and right behind him on two feet - - -yes just her two hind feet were on the ground and her front paws were up and she was clawing the bejeebers out of Leo all while running on her two back feet. She was hissing and clawing and clawing and hissing. Leo was yelping. After the initial shock, Nineandahalf jumped up with Furr and managed to separate the two. I’ve never seen anything like it - -and literally we had to use tweezers to pull the tips of Mia’s claws out of Leo’s skin. I’m not sure who was hurt worse - -Leo or Mia. We pulled three claws out of him . . .but do you think he learned. No, just a short time later, he was back again and she cornered him in the room. We kept the door closed after that. You’d think he’d learn . . .but heck he’s male and loves cat food!
